Parkes Spacies hosted Nyngan Tigers in Round 2 of the Group XI league tag competition on Jock Colley Field last Sunday.
Eighteen ladies sang captain Hannah Kelly happy birthday before running on pumped for a repeat of their 2015 semi-final triumph.
Parkes started strongly with nice passes and quick runs from Ella J Harris, Hannah Kelly and Britt Ryan seeing Demi Winter get close to scoring.

It was not taken on the full, but gathered up by Britt Ryan who produced a bustling run.
From the play the ball, Parkes spread the ball across field for Britt Dumesny to make a finger tips catch and run through the defence. With no points posted by either team, Parkes made a change and introduced Katie Caldwell from the bench.
She made an immediate impact, producing a line break and putting Ella J Harris over to open Parkes’ account.
Parkes capitalised on a Nyngan fumble with good work from Nat Gardiner, Nicole Mapperson and Louise McAneney to put Codie Wakefield over for the Spacies’ second. Nyngan put some points on the board six minutes before halftime.
Parkes hit back from a good run by Sarah McAneney.
She off-loaded for Katie Caldwell to score under the posts, with Ella J Harris adding the extras.
A short kick by Nyngan went out after a bounce leaving Parkes with a lot of defence to do just before half time.
They held on to take a 14 – 6 lead into the break.
Great chase and pressure from Parkes saw Nyngan knock on in their first set of the second half with the home side getting possession 20 metres out.
The were unable to add to their advantage, but continued to pressure the Tigers into errors.
Tries to Emma Bailey and Katie Caldwell, and a successful Claire Barber conversion before scoring a try of her own, saw Parkes out to a healthy lead.
Further tries to Demi Winter (2) saw Parkes Spacies run out very convincing 40 – 6 winners.
